When was the last time you shared Jesus with someone? Or maybe you’re someone that has never been told of the gospel message. On Sunday our whole youth group was challenged to pick up our mobile phones and call a friend, someone who we want to share Jesus with to tell them that Jesus loves them.
I think alot of the times when we share the gospel we try to over complicate things by “arguing” the gospel so that your friend might be convinced, however the gospel is not about winning your friends over with a convincing argument, but it all boils down to three words – Jesus loves you. I have shared the gospel with so many, and I find that when I start with an argument, I will get an argument back. However when I bluntly spoke “Jesus loves you”, the guy didn’t really have much to say except “thanks…”. I believe this is what people need to hear, they don’t need to hear reasoning, people need to hear plain and simple truth.
Whoever you are, wherever you are from, whatever you’ve done in the past or maybe even still doing now. Let me tell you right now that Jesus loves you and He always will, nothing you do, will stop Him from loving you.
