No Pain, No Gain

Throughout the book of Job, we see that Job is basically stripped of everything, his property, his livestock, even his family and friends go against him. We need to understand that when we face a trial, it is required so that we may be able to grow. For us to get stronger we need to exercise and as the saying goes “no pain, no gain”.

Whenever we come to a problem it is easy to just give up and let the problem take over. However if we have God in us, who can be against us. There is not a problem too big for God.

“What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” – Romans 8:31

For a plant to grow it must go through the harsh conditions of the weather, the hot sun, the thundering rain. This is why it is important that we make sure we are firmly rooted in Jesus. Only through Jesus can we get through these trials and problems in our lives. If it wasn’t for Jesus, I would have caved in a long time ago, but because of Him, I am able to keep going, from glory to glory.

Lord, I thank you that you are a dependable God. Thank you God that through the trials and problems in my life that you use them to help me to grow and become more like you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
