Apple has just recently updated their Macbook Pro range. Some highlights include:
- Faster CPU: Santa Rosa chips up to 2.4Ghz with 800MHz FSB
- LED backlight displays
- 2GB standard RAM (expandable up to 4GB – previously 3GB)
- Larger hard-drives (120 GB – expandable up to 250GB)
- Better graphics cards (NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 256MB of GDDR3 SDRAM)
- Improved battery life (Apple claims 6 hrs for the 15″ model and 5.75 hrs for the 17″ model)
- Reduced prices (roughly 10% off the previous price)
I’d love to get one, but I might wait until Leopard is released later on in the year.
